Volunteering to Make Our Communities a Better Place in a Better World
At BetterWorld Telecom, our employees volunteer at least one-half day each month to non-profit causes in the communities we serve. Here are some examples:
Heart of America Foundation
Founded in 1997, Heart of America's mission is to teach the values at the heart of America and to help people, particularly children, learn that they help themselves when they help others. HOA's goal is to give children everywhere the tools they need to read, succeed and make a difference. Their programs uniquely combine character education, literacy, and service learning. We are a national, nonsectarian, non-partisan, nonprofit, humanitarian organization.

The Patricia M. Sitar Center for Children and the Arts
The Patricia M. Sitar Center for the Arts is a community arts center located in the multicultural Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, DC. It focuses primarily on programs and activities for at-risk children, youth, and their families but reaches out to all community members through shared experiences in the arts.
